Ex-Red Bull racer urges FIA to allow drivers ‘wear their heart on their sleeves’ amidst Max Verstappen’ swearing saga

Max Verstappen remains true to his principles and committed to his team, expressing his desire for a stable, long-term partnership with Red Bull Racing. The three-time Formula 1 world champion, who has enjoyed remarkable success with the Austrian team, highlighted his intention to foster a fun and collaborative relationship with the people around him.

In an interview with *Sky Sports Italy*, Verstappen, who has been with Red Bull for several years, said, “I don’t want my F1 career to be about moving from one team to another. I want to build a long, stable, and fun relationship with everyone in the team and feel at home there.” This statement underscores his desire for continuity rather than the frequent team changes that are common in the sport.

While many drivers chase new opportunities across multiple teams, Verstappen made it clear that this is not his approach. “My next step, if it ever comes, will be the last one,” Verstappen mentioned, acknowledging that he isn’t actively considering leaving his current team. His focus, instead, remains on maintaining his competitive edge and improving as a driver.

“At the moment, I’m not worried about changing teams,” he added. “There’s still so much to achieve and understand in the coming years. Whatever comes after that is still a long way off.” For now, Verstappen’s sights are set firmly on continuing his winning streak with Red Bull, in line with his personal motto: “Race and Win.”

Despite the challenges that lie ahead, Verstappen is clearly committed to the long-term success of both himself and his team, signaling a strong and enduring partnership with Red Bull Racing.
