Max Verstappen, a three-time Formula 1 world champion, remains deeply committed to his principles of loyalty and stability within his team, Red Bull Racing. In a recent interview with Sky Sports Italy, Verstappen opened up about his long-term vision and approach to his F1 career, emphasizing his desire for a lasting and meaningful relationship with the team he has grown with over the years.

“Race and win” remains the central driving force for the Dutchman, who is fully aware of the risks and challenges that come with motorsport. Despite these challenges, Verstappen’s passion for driving a competitive car keeps him motivated. “I’ve been with this team for a long time. It’s logical that everyone in the paddock wants to win,” he said. “As the years go by, you can easily move from one team to another, but I don’t want my F1 career to be like that. I want to build a long, stable, and fun relationship with everyone in the team and feel at home there.”

Verstappen’s current focus is on growth, improvement, and understanding key aspects of the sport to maintain his dominance. He did not rule out a potential shift in the future, hinting that his next move, if it happens, will be his last. However, he reassured fans that he’s not preoccupied with team changes at the moment. “It doesn’t seem fun to change teams frequently. My next step, if it ever comes, will be the last one. But that next step could also be a contract extension with this team,” he added.

The reigning champion’s statement highlights his loyalty to Red Bull while leaving the door open to future possibilities, though for now, he’s fully invested in continuing his winning partnership with the team.
