National college football analyst makes staggering prediction about ‘filthy’ Penn State Nittany Lions RB room….

National college football analyst Brad Crawford from 247 Sports has identified Penn State’s running back unit as the nation’s best, describing it as “filthy” due to its exceptional talent and depth. This acclaim centers on the dynamic duo of Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen, both of whom surpassed 1,000 rushing yards in the 2024 season and have opted to return for another year.

Crawford emphasizes that the Nittany Lions’ offensive line is a significant asset, enhancing the effectiveness of the running game. He also notes quarterback Drew Allar’s imposing presence at 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, which adds a formidable element to Penn State’s red zone offense.

With a favorable home schedule, including key matchups against Oregon, Indiana, and Nebraska, Penn State is well-positioned for a strong campaign. The team’s aspirations are further bolstered by the addition of former Ohio State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles to their coaching staff. This strategic move aims to strengthen their defense and improve their competitiveness in the Big Ten.

The Nittany Lions’ success this season may hinge on their ability to overcome longstanding challenges, particularly their near-decade-long losing streak against Ohio State. The combination of a potent running game, strategic coaching additions, and a favorable schedule positions Penn State as a formidable contender in the upcoming season.
