WHAT THE FUCK!!:NCAA softball transfer portal: How former OU, Oklahoma State players fared in 2024….

In 2024, several former University of Oklahoma (OU) softball players who transferred to other programs had notable seasons.

Jordy Bahl: After two championship-winning seasons with OU, Bahl transferred to the University of Nebraska to be closer to home. Unfortunately, her 2024 season was cut short due to a torn ACL sustained in the opening game against Washington, limiting her to just 2 1/3 innings pitched.

Jocelyn Erickson: Seeking more playing time, Erickson transferred from OU to the University of Florida. She had a breakout season, earning SEC Player of the Year honors with a .391 batting average and 78 RBIs over 61 games. Her performance significantly contributed to Florida’s improved 54-14 record and their advancement to the Women’s College World Series semifinals.

These transitions highlight the impact of the transfer portal on NCAA softball, as players seek opportunities that align with their personal and professional aspirations.
