At the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships, the Penn State Nittany Lions delivered an exceptional performance in Session II, advancing all ten wrestlers to the quarterfinals—a first in school history. This flawless display contributed to their leading team score of 39.5 points, ahead of Nebraska’s 28.0 and Oklahoma State’s 24.0.

125 lbs: Top-seeded Luke Lilledahl secured a 19-3 technical fall over No. 16 Blake West of Northern Illinois.

 

133 lbs: No. 8 Braeden Davis edged out a 5-3 decision against No. 9 Braxton Brown of Maryland.

 

141 lbs: Second-seeded Beau Bartlett triumphed 4-1 over No. 18 Julian Tagg from South Dakota State.

 

149 lbs: No. 3 Shayne Van Ness dominated with an 11-1 major decision against No. 19 Andrew Clark of Rutgers.

 

157 lbs: Top-seeded Tyler Kasak achieved an 8-3 decision over No. 16 Cody Chittum of Iowa State.

 

165 lbs: No. 1 Mitchell Mesenbrink won by technical fall, 22-6, against No. 16 Kyle Mosher of Hofstra.
