Penn State Wrestlers Secure 7 All American Honors in Quarterfinals | Session III Full Results….

 

In a dominant display at the NCAA Wrestling Championships, Penn State wrestlers secured seven All-American honors during the quarterfinals of Session III. The Nittany Lions showcased their strength and depth, continuing their tradition of excellence on the national stage.

Leading the charge was Roman Bravo-Young (133 lbs), who displayed his signature speed and technique to earn a spot in the semifinals. Carter Starocci (174 lbs) and Aaron Brooks (197 lbs), both reigning national champions, delivered commanding performances to advance, keeping their title defense hopes alive. True freshman Levi Haines (157 lbs) impressed with a clutch win, proving himself among the nation’s elite.

 

Max Dean (197 lbs) and Beau Bartlett (141 lbs) also punched their tickets to the semifinals with gritty victories, while Shayne Van Ness (149 lbs) secured his All-American status, despite falling short in a hard-fought match.

 

With seven All-Americans, Penn State remains a top contender for the team championship, reinforcing its reputation as a wrestling powerhouse. The Nittany Lions’ impressive quarterfinal performance sets the stage for an exciting semifinal round, where the wrestlers will look to add more titles to their storied program.
