At 125 pounds, No. 1 seed Luke Lilledahl dominated No. 16 Blake West of Northern Illinois, securing a technical fall victory of 19-3. In the 133-pound category, No. 8 Braeden Davis earned a 5-3 decision over No. 9 Braxton Brown from Maryland. No. 2 Beau Bartlett, wrestling at 141 pounds, achieved a 4-1 decision against No. 18 Julian Tagg of South Dakota State. At 149 pounds, No. 3 Shayne Van Ness overpowered No. 19 Andrew Clark of Rutgers with a 12-1 major decision.
Top-seeded 157-pounder Tyler Kasak secured an 8-3 decision over No. 16 Cody Chittum from Iowa State.
