In a commanding performance on Tuesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs secured a 7-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Arena. Forwards William Nylander and John Tavares each tallied two goals and two assists, leading the offensive charge. Nylander’s first goal, a power-play marker in the first period, marked his 40th of the season, matching his career high. Bobby McMann contributed a goal and an assist, while David Kampf and Max Domi also found the back of the net. Goaltender Anthony Stolarz was solid between the pipes, recording 17 saves. This win improves Toronto’s record to 43-25-3, totaling 89 points, and marks their fourth victory in the past five games.

The Flyers, now on a six-game losing streak, received goals from Ryan Poehling and Sean Couturier. Goaltender Samuel Ersson faced a barrage of shots, stopping 23 of 30. Toronto’s defense was effective in limiting Philadelphia’s opportunities, contributing to the lopsided result.

This decisive win underscores the Maple Leafs’ offensive depth and defensive resilience as they continue their push toward the playoffs.
