In a strategic move to bolster their roster, the Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed several key players in recent months. Notably, on October 28, 2024, they secured defenseman Jake McCabe with a five-year contract extension, averaging $4.51 million annually. McCabe, 31, contributed three assists in nine games during the 2024-25 season and has amassed 155 points over his 12-season NHL career.

Earlier, on June 30, 2024, the Leafs re-signed forward Max Domi to a four-year, $15 million deal. Domi, 29, recorded nine goals and 47 points in 80 games during the previous season. Additionally, on September 10, 2024, they re-signed forward Nick Robertson to a one-year contract worth $875,000. Robertson, 23, achieved a personal best with 27 points in the 2023-24 season.

 

These signings reflect the Maple Leafs’ commitment to maintaining a competitive lineup as they aim for success in the current NHL season.
