2 SEC teams reportedly working overtime to flip 5-star Tennessee Vols commit Faizon Brandon……
Five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, a Grimsley High School standout from North Carolina, committed to the Tennessee Volunteers in August 2024. Since then, he has remained a pivotal figure in Tennessee’s 2026 recruiting efforts, frequently visiting Knoxville and actively recruiting other top prospects. Notably, he has been instrumental in courting five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys and four-star safety Joey O’Brien.

Despite his strong commitment, both Alabama and LSU continue to pursue Brandon. He acknowledges their efforts but maintains that he is “100 percent locked in” with Tennessee. Brandon emphasizes the importance of keeping relationships with other programs, stating, “I just keep the relationship. But I tell them that I’m locked in with Tennessee.”
In a recent development, Brandon visited Tennessee over the weekend, spending time with fellow recruits and reinforcing his role as a peer recruiter. He expressed his commitment to helping build a strong 2026 class, stating, “I really come down here to just continue to build a relationship with Joey and then just help recruit the class.”
Brandon’s steadfast commitment to Tennessee, coupled with his active involvement in recruiting, underscores his dedication to the program. While other SEC schools continue their pursuit, he remains focused on contributing to the Volunteers’ success both on and off the field.
