Penn State wrestling redshirt freshman Joshua Barr suffered an injury during his 197-pound match at the Big Ten Championships on Sunday. Barr has already qualified for the national tournament, scheduled for March 20-22 in Philadelphia. His ability to compete at the event is uncertain and will depend on evaluations from the team’s training staff. In the Big Ten finals, Penn State has six wrestlers competing for championships, including top-ranked athletes in several weight classes. Additionally, three other Penn State wrestlers will compete for third place in the consolation bracket. The Nittany Lions are well-represented, with nine competitors still in action in the final session of the tournament.
