NASCAR has officially announced that Chase Elliott has been suspended following an on-track incident during the recent Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The sanctioning body determined that Elliott intentionally crashed into Denny Hamlin on Lap 186, sending Hamlin’s car into the outside SAFER barrier. This action violated NASCAR’s Member Code of Conduct, specifically Sections 4.3.A and 4.4.C & D, which address conduct detrimental to the sport and actions that remove another competitor from championship contention in a dangerous manner. citeturn0search0
