In a notable highlight at 197 pounds, No. 4 Josh Barr amassed all 22 of his points in the third period, including seven takedowns within a minute, to claim a 22-6 technical fall over No. 16 John Poznanski. The dual concluded with No. 2 Greg Kerkvliet earning a 2-1 decision over No. 7 Yaraslau Slavikouski at heavyweight.

This decisive victory not only underscores Penn State’s dominance in collegiate wrestling but also sets the stage for their upcoming high-profile dual against No. 2 Iowa, scheduled for next Friday at the Bryce Jordan Center.
