Two NASCAR teams returning after missing the Daytona 500…….

Two NASCAR teams, which missed the 2025 Daytona 500, are gearing up for a return to action in the upcoming races.

Rick Ware Racing (RWR), after a disappointing absence from the prestigious Daytona race, is bringing its No. 01 Ford Mustang back to the track. The team, which failed to qualify for the Daytona 500, will return with driver Corey LaJoie behind the wheel. LaJoie, who had shown consistent improvement last season, is looking to build momentum in the upcoming events. The team’s return is part of their ongoing efforts to stay competitive and strengthen their position in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Meanwhile, Garage 66, formerly known as MBM Motorsports, is also preparing for its return. The team, under new ownership and a rebranded identity, was unable to secure a spot in the Daytona 500 after an attempt with driver Mike Wallace. Despite the setback, the team remains determined to compete in the Cup Series. The rebranded team aims to make a strong comeback, starting with the upcoming races. Garage 66’s return is a testament to the resilience of smaller teams in NASCAR, who continue to fight for a spot in the limelight.

The return of both Rick Ware Racing and Garage 66 highlights the ever-changing landscape of NASCAR, where teams, regardless of size, continue to work tirelessly to improve their chances and compete at the highest level. As the season progresses, these teams will be looking to build on their performance and make a statement in the upcoming events, starting with the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
