Cody Chittum, a highly regarded 157-pound wrestler, has committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions, bolstering their already formidable lineup. Chittum’s journey to this commitment has been marked by several significant transitions.

 

Initially, Chittum committed to the University of Minnesota in June 2021. However, he reopened his recruitment in the summer of 2022 and subsequently committed to the University of Iowa in July 2022. Despite this commitment, he did not enroll at Iowa and instead spent a year training with the Hawkeye Wrestling Club in Iowa City.
