Tennessee Titans Strengthen Front Office with NFL Veterans
The Tennessee Titans have bolstered their leadership team by hiring two experienced former general managers to assist their new GM, Mike Borgonzi. The team appointed Dave Ziegler as assistant general manager and Reggie McKenzie as vice president and football adviser. These additions come as the Titans focus on rebuilding after a challenging three-season stretch, with a 16-35 record.
Ziegler, who has 15 years of NFL experience, most recently served as the senior personnel adviser for the New Orleans Saints. His previous roles include general manager of the Las Vegas Raiders for two years and significant time with the New England Patriots in various personnel positions. McKenzie, a Knoxville native and former general manager of the Oakland Raiders from 2012 to 2018, brings extensive expertise to the Titans. He has spent the last six years as a senior executive with the Miami Dolphins.
The Titans, with the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft and approximately $50 million in salary cap space, are looking to make strategic moves to reverse their recent fortunes. The hiring of Ziegler and McKenzie is aimed at providing the guidance and experience necessary to navigate this critical phase of the franchise’s develop
ment.
