Several former NASCAR drivers are set to make notable returns to full-time racing in the 2025 season, bringing renewed excitement to the motorsport community.

Kasey Kahne, who retired from the NASCAR Cup Series in 2018, has announced his return to competitive racing. The 44-year-old will compete full-time in the High Limit Racing Series, a sprint car series co-owned by NASCAR driver Kyle Larson. Kahne’s comeback has been met with enthusiasm from fans eager to see him back on the track.

In the NASCAR Cup Series, Ty Dillon is set to return to full-time competition with Kaulig Racing. After a season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2024, Dillon will drive the renumbered No. 10 car (formerly No. 31) for Kaulig Racing in 2025. This move marks Dillon’s return to the Cup Series, where he previously competed before transitioning to the Truck Series.

Additionally, actor-turned-racer Frankie Muniz is making a significant career shift by joining the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series full-time in 2025. Muniz, best known for his role in “Malcolm in the Middle,” has been pursuing a racing career since 2006. After competing in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, where he secured a fourth-place finish in the points standings, Muniz will drive the No. 33 Ford for Reaume Brothers Racing in the upcoming season.

These returns highlight a trend of experienced drivers re-entering the racing scene, promising an engaging and competitive 2025 season for NASCAR fans.
