Amari Cooper has had a stellar career in both college football with the Alabama Crimson Tide and in the NFL, where he became a star player for the Dallas Cowboys, not the Cleveland Browns. Cooper played college football at the University of Alabama, where he quickly emerged as one of the most talented wide receivers in the country.

During his time with the Crimson Tide from 2012 to 2014, Cooper set numerous records and earned several prestigious awards. In his freshman year, he made an immediate impact, recording over 1,000 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. His sophomore season was even more impressive, as he broke school records with 1,727 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns, establishing himself as a top NFL prospect.

Cooper’s success at Alabama was marked by his exceptional route-running ability, speed, and reliable hands. He played a crucial role in Alabama’s offense, helping the team secure multiple victories and championships during his tenure. His performances earned him the Fred Biletnikoff Award in 2014, given annually to the nation’s top college receiver.

After declaring for the NFL Draft following his junior season, Cooper was selected by the Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders) as the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He continued to showcase his talents at the professional level, becoming known for his precise route running and big-play ability.

In 2018, Cooper was traded to the Dallas Cowboys, where he quickly became a central figure in their offense. He consistently surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in multiple seasons and earned Pro Bowl honors for his performances. His chemistry with Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott helped elevate Dallas’ passing game, making him a key asset for the team.

While Cooper has not played for the Cleveland Browns, his impact in the NFL is undeniable. His ability to create separation from defenders and make crucial catches in clutch moments has solidified his reputation as one of the league’s top wide receivers. Cooper’s journey from Alabama to the NFL exemplifies his dedication to the game and his continuous pursuit of excellence on the field.
