Medical update emerges as Rangers eye Hamza Igamane transfer with double agreement

AS FAR striker Hamza Igamane has passed his medical with Rangers set to announce his signing, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reported on 2 July that Gers have reached a double agreement to sign the 21-year-old with a £2.5million fee ironed out along with a five-year contract.

The Moroccan forward has also been granted his visa, which he hadn’t thus far, and will be the next player through the door at Ibrox this summer.

Rangers take a gamble paying that fee on someone unproven outside Morocco

Gers’ decision to pay £2.5million for Igamane represents a significant gamble, given his lack of experience outside Morocco.

While the 21-year-old striker has shown promise in his home country, the Scottish Premiership is a different beast, with a higher level of competition and physicality.
